After avoiding several extremely tall towers, we located a secluded beach on an inland waterway 95 miles southwest of the Wacca Wache Marina. Just east of Rockville, SC, the muddy beach was a welcome sight. No police, no people with cell phones; just a commercial fishery about a mile away.
We beached the aircraft, fueled the J3, off loaded some biodegradable waste, and launched toward our last stop of the day, Hilton Head, SC.
